With 20 plus years in the hospitality industry, Christine understands the meaning of great customer service. As a past Guest Services Manager, Executive Housekeeper and Vacation Rental Manager, she knows how to sweat the details and takes care in all that she does.

Christine grew up in Toronto, enjoying her summers at Chandos Lake in Apsley at her family owned, 100 year old cottage. She’s spent the last decade in Alberta, working at the Fairmont, Jasper Park Lodge, Banff Springs and Rimrock, but there was always a call to come home - which she answered this year.

Most recently, Christine worked as a hospitality manager for an Airbnb property management company. She offered full-service short-term rental management services for vacation rental units in multiple resort-style condominiums in the Rocky Mountains. As part of a boutique firm, she provided hands-on dedication, enthusiasm, and expertise to clients and customers.

In Christine’s spare time she volunteers at the SPCA. She’s an animal lover and mom to multiple fur babies. This, combined with her passion to serve others and her wealth of hospitality knowledge, made the decision to form Bright and Happy with her partner Jarold a no-brainer. She looks forward to helping her clients take back their free time and enjoy their investments worry free for many years to come.

Jarold

Jarold graduated from SAIT - the top culinary program in Canada. He’s a chef who’s been in the industry for over 20 years. Though Jarold’s passionate about food, he’s experienced a variety of roles in his career and truly kicks butt at all things hospitality.

Don’t let his massive beard and tattoos fool you - Jarold’s as soft as they come. Like Christine, he adores animals and has volunteered at the SPCA for half a decade while being a very devoted dog dad.

Jarold grew up in the mountains, but as a natural people person he’s drawn to new places. He’s looking forward to this chapter in Ontario, serving the community alongside his fiancé the best way he knows how: with an infectious personality and ambitious drive.
